Alan White

Alan White turned pro in 1982 when he became an assistant at Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Courses in Perthshire. In 1989 he left Gleneagles and moved to Aberdeen to be head pro at Murcar Golf Club. After a successful 7 years there, Alan moved to Lanark Golf Club where he has been since.

In 2001 Alan was given the honour of being the Centenary Captain of the Scottish PGA. Then went on to be Chairman of the PGA in Scotland from 2006 until 2014. He now sits on the Board of the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland. To recognise Alan's experience as a Golf Coach along with his work with the PGA he was made an Advanced Fellow of the PGA, which he was presented with at the "Open" at Turnberry in 2009.

Alan is much in demand as a teacher and coach. With his Assistant Professionals, he provides a comprehensive teaching service to suit players of every standard, from beginners to highly accomplished golfers, including some of Scotland’s best amateurs and young tour professionals.

Programmes range from individual coaching using a Flightscope Launch Monitor and a state-of-the-art video technology and software, to group sessions and company clinics.

Jackson and Adam

Jackson joined us from Craigmiller Park Golf Club where he was a PGA Assistant Golf Professional. Previously he was a member at Mortonhall Golf Club, also playing off scratch.

Adam started with us at the start of the 2016 season as our new Assistant Professional. As an amateur Adam held a +3 handicap at Sandiway Golf Club in Cheshire and played for England 3 times but we wont hold that against him!

Individual lessons from Alan cost £30.00 per half hour or £60.00 per hour.

Jackson and Adam enjoy running the Junior Golf Academy and seeing young pupils flourish under their guidance during the Summer and Winter Academies, which are going from strength to strength. If your child would like to join in, it doesn't matter if they play or not at the moment, give us a call on 01555 661456 to find out about the latest class dates.

Individual lessons for your child are also available on a 1 to 1 basis for £19.50 per half hour lesson.

When it comes to club fitting, it is something we all like to do and enjoy the challenge of finding the product that will help the golfer get the most enjoyment from his, or her, golf.
