Alan White, Advanced Fellow PGA Professional

Alan White turned pro in 1982 when he became an assistant at Gleneagles Hotel and Golf Courses in Perthshire. In 1989 he left Gleneagles and moved to Aberdeen to be head pro at Murcar Golf Club. After a successful 7 years there, Alan moved to Lanark Golf Club where he has been since.
In 2001 Alan was given the honour of being the Centenary Captain of the Scottish PGA. He then served as Chairman of the Scottish PGA until 2014 when he became a Board Member of the PGA of GB&I.  In 2017 he then became
Chairman of the PGA of GB&I, a Trustee of the PGA Benevolent Fund and a Board Member of Ryder Cup Europe Ltd.  To recognise Alan’s experience as a Golf Coach as well his work with the PGA he was made a Advance Fellow of the PGA, which he was presented with at the The Open at Turnberry in 2009.
Alan is much in demand as a teacher and coach. With his Assistant Professionals, Stephen Gray and Graeme Greer he provides a comprehensive teaching service to suit players of every standard, from beginners to highly accomplished golfers, including some of Scotland’s best amateurs and young tour professionals.

Stevie & Graeme

Stephen Gray turned Professional in 1996 and has since had a long and successful career as a full-time player winning both the Order of Merit and the Money List in Scotland, as well as competing on the EuroPro Tour before joining us in 2018. Stephen still plays regularly in Scottish and overseas events and is the current course record holder at Royal Dornoch after shooting 62.
Graeme Greer is the newest addition to our team. He has already completed his PGA Level 1 Coaching and has now started his PGA training to become a qualified Golf Professional. Graeme played all his amateur golf at Carluke GC and Prestwick St Nicholas where he got down to a +1 handicap and played for Scotland in the Home International in 2016.

Lessons & Junior Academy

Individual lessons from Alan cost £30.00 per half hour or £60.00 per hour. 
Stephen Gray enjoys running the Junior Golf Academy and seeing young pupils flourish under his guidance during the Summer and Winter Academies, which are going from strength to strength. If your child would like to join in, it doesn't matter if they play or not at the moment, give us a call on 01555 663219 Option 1 to find out about the latest class dates.

Individual lessons for your child are also available on a 1 to 1 basis for £19.50 per half hour lesson.

When it comes to club fitting, it is something we all like to do and enjoy the challenge of finding the product that will help the golfer get the most enjoyment from his, or her, golf.
